Where do I find the access links and Participant Pack?

Individual Ticket holders will receive an email containing the links to join CI Network - which includes the Zoom webinars. If you can’t find it, search your inbox for ‘access the CIP Convention 25 on CI Network.

People attending a Watch Party will receive the link to join CI Network from their party host.

Will the Convention be recorded?

Yes, the Convention will be recorded and attendees will be notified by email when the recordings are available in CI Network.

What platform is the Convention being hosted on?

This year’s Convention will run in CI Network, which is hosted by CIP on the community platform Circle.

CI Network is an easy-to-use online platform designed to help you connect, collaborate and share with like-minded people from across the Movement and the country - think of it as an online space that combines the community feel of a Facebook group with the focused conversations and channels of Slack or WhatsApp.

How do I access the Convention in CI Network?

 

It depends on how you are joining the Convention.

If you have purchased an Individual ticket via Humanitix, you will receive an email with a link to access the CIP Convention 25 on CI Network. Click this link and it will take you directly to CI Network.

If you are joining the Convention from a Watch Party, your party host will share a QR code or a link with you to join the Convention in CI Network. This will enable you to find out more about the event and importantly, to interact with other attendees during the session.

How do I use CI Network?

CI Network is easy to navigate with a simple menu system showing all the spaces on the left-hand side of the web browser screen or Home screen on a mobile phone. Below is a preview of how the CI Network looks in a web browser and on the Circle app on your phone, highlighting the key areas to use for the Convention.

We recommend you familiarise yourself with the Convention on CI Network prior to attending. You can join the Convention at 6pm on Friday night for the Pre-Convention Help Desk session where Brent Hodgson will explain how to use CI Network and get the most out of the event.

Tips for using Zoom

 

The Convention sessions will be live-streamed on Zoom Webinars. You can access the links to these Webinars in CI Network under Sessions. We recommend you download the latest version of Zoom’s Desktop Client (https://zoom.us/download) to ensure the best Zoom experience.
